After a process, which took about 4 months, we can proudly announce that Int. J. Notes on Number Theory and Discrete Mathematics already has a new Web 2.0 website, powered by the WordPress platform, which now gives readers much more valuable content and much better user experience.
The new website’s structure is more detailed than before, exhibiting the Journal’s volumes and numbers as separate interlinked pages, as well as every research paper now independently accessible via unique, mnemonically titled URL. The new site, however, has been designed in a way, to inherit and maintain all URLs to pages and files from the previous website, which may have been published elsewhere in the web.
The webpages for Journal numbers contain links to the included papers, as well as the papers’ abstracts for reader’s quick reference.
The webpages for Journal papers contain details about the authors and their affiliations, paper abstract, keywords and AMS Classification codes, as well as list of references. In addition, the pages have two auxiliary blocks, containing optional links to related papers from the Journal’s publications base, as well as three of the most popular paper citation styles: APA, Chicago and MLA.
One of the best new features of the website is the embedded search engine which facilitates users in search of specific content, authors, AMS codes, etc. It is noteworthy that it matches relevant results even for incomplete keywords, for instance, just part of the AMS code. Another feature is the weekly newsletter, which will inform readers of our progress in the undertaken process of digitization of the first years of the Journals content, and of other journal-related news.
If you happen to miss the old site, which we doubt 🙂 , you can still check here. Please, be advised that its content is not going to be updated any more.
